Yep I'm a Halifaian (twice over now)

As Dawn has said I just got my posting message for HMCS Halifax (the only problem of place names for ships is living in that city gets confusing). I guess I'll be Pierres slave i mean trainee for a while. I was concerned which coast I was going to be on for the past month or so because the PO's at CFNES have been asking for posting preferences again, I had though that it  was sorted out when I left NFLD but I was told I only had my trraining port not home port posting. I hate waiting for someone else to decide my fate. But I'm posted to an East coast ship so I'm good for a while I can't see me being posted West now unless I lose my mind and ask to go West.

My QL3 course is going well starting a ne phase called CTO which puts me into evening classes (4-12) feels odd to wake at ten in the morning and not be late for work. Tommarrow I have a Doctors appointment for new meds (for my skin) and to see if my temporary catagory will continue. I have exercise induded compartment tunnel, and I though I just really hated running, what that means is when I run a distance or do forced marchs my leg muscles try to expand past their lining and cut the blood supply to my feet. When my feet lose the precious blood the fall asleep and I lose corrdination and feeling of the ground. I have  a specialist appointment wrt this but being a low priority I have to wait for him to call (2 months + now ) and schedule surgery. I'm tld the surgery is pretty common most commonly done at accident scenes actually  to prevent leg injuries from getting worse. After the surgery I won't be dancing for a while but walking fairly normally even that day. I just have to plan it around the move and the Ships schedule but I hear that the Halifax is in dry dock.

Anyway I should vaccum before I go to work and get ready so I better go get stuff done.

Mike

Now that you are posted to this coast, and have kids, can't you ask to stay here? Talk it over with Pierre, but I think it worked out that way for him cause the kids were in school. Me having a career here helped too, and the house.

I guess you'll just have to learn to spell, honey! You never told me we might not go to Halifax! Imagine if you told me that we suddenly had to go to a west coast unit! ACK! E-mail me and let me know how things go tonight!

Since we are on the topic of spelling
A ship's name is always capitalized.

It should read HMCS HALIFAX.

I believe the term is Haligonian

If you live in Halifax you are Haligonian.

A member of the HALIFAX ship's company is simply a Halifax.

I am Halifax of HMCS HALIFAX.
